Mr. Charlie Lim founded LCW Investments Pte Ltd on 14 July 1995. The company's primary objective was to make bird's nest products easily available and more importantly, affordable to all levels of consumers. Since then, LCW has grown into both a retailer and wholesaler of processed, unprocessed and bottled bird's nest.
With his familiarity and knowledge of swiftlets and their nests, Charlie has been actively engaged as a swiftlet house farming consultant since 1998. Indeed, he has been so successful that he recently established a new consultancy arm, appropriately named “Swiftletswift”, which provided consultation and management services to locals as well as our neighbors in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Charlie is also the first in Singapore to establish a swiftlets house farming joint venture with the local authorities. His duties include overseeing the construction and maintenance of the swiftlets house farms. In addition, Charlie’s expertise is crucial to the research and conservation of the swiftlets and in increasing the general swiftlet population.
